The Noorduyn Norseman is a Canadian single-engine bush plane designed by Robert Noorduyn. First flown in 1935, the Mk.IV was an improved variant featuring a more powerful engine and increased fuel capacity. Known for its exceptional ruggedness and versatility, it could be fitted with wheels, skis, or floats. During WWII, it was widely used by the RCAF and USAAF (as the C-64) for transport and search-and-rescue operations, proving indispensable in the harsh environments of the North.
