The Percival Proctor Mk.III was a specialized three-seat radio trainer developed for the Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War II. It was based on the successful Vega Gull but modified to meet Air Ministry Specification 20/38. The Mk.III was the most widely produced variant, with 437 units built primarily by F. Hills & Sons. Its main mission was training radio operators for Bomber Command, providing a stable platform for students to master wireless communication before moving to frontline bombers like the Lancaster or Halifax.
